lucia
she/her
is an Anishinaabe and white artist who has been newly apprenticing at Red Clover Tattoo Collective. She is a descendent of the Bad River (Mashkiiziibii) band of Ojibwe and grew up on the bay of Lake Superior (Gichi-Gami).
Luciaโs goal for tattooing is to hold space for people of color and LGBTQ+ communities while providing a means to reclaim body and self. In creating a safe space, she hopes to allow people from all walks of life the opportunity to acknowledge any trauma with honor and dignity directed towards healing.
She enjoys creating art surrounding horror, portraits, animals/things found in nature, and cultural reclamation. Her favorite mediums are charcoal and acrylic paint. In her free time she is an avid rock-hunter and bead-worker who thoroughly enjoys running around with her two huskies.
